- Room length, width, and wall height
- Number of doors and windows
- Ceiling, trim, and door measurements if included
Paint estimate
- Paint coverage per gallon from the label
- Number of coats
- Waste factor or touch-up allowance
- Gallons and cans to buy
Supplies
- Primer, caulk, spackle, tape, rollers, brushes, trays, and drop cloths
- Sandpaper, cleaning supplies, ladder needs, and cleanup plan
- Paint color, finish, brand, and batch notes
Planning notes
- Estimate trim and ceiling paint separately when they use different products.
- Keep the final paint label information for later touch-ups.
